How to Make Money Blogging
I’m sure you all would like to earn little bit of extra cash from your blog, the extra pennies could definitely come in useful, right?
Maybe buy yourself a glass of wine at the weekend or put some towards the running costs of your blog.
The question now comes how do you generate money from your blog? Well there is no one rule to generating money from your blog and everyone’s blog is a little different. I will however offer my tips on how I monetize my various blogs and websites so hopefully you can take a few of my blog money making ideas and implement them on your blog.
As I discover and implement new ways to monetize my blogs and websites I will update this page.
1. Affiliate Programs
One of my big earners I have done extremely well with affiliate programs like:
Tip: You’ll have more chance of making some money if you have a niche blog where you can easily sell products or recommend and write reviews.
2. Private Ad Sales
This method is a great way to monetize your blog; it can be a little difficult to attract potential advertisers if your blog is new. Try and entice advertisers in with cheap monthly prices and package deals. I have had good results with private ad sales on some of my other websites.
Tip: There’s nothing stopping you approaching them directly.
3. Info links
I currently use Info links on all of my blogs and websites; I initially started to use Info links as an alternative to Ad Sense. Info links has an excellent dedicated customer service team and I have earned more with Info links in the past 6 months than I ever did with Google Ad Sense.
4. Chitika
Chitika is a great monetizing tool that I’ve had some great results with on one of my other websites, you can earn more money from visitors coming to your blog or website from the search engines.
5. Amazon Associates
Currently used on all of my sites in some form or another the more you sell the higher commission you can earn. I also have 2 dedicated Amazon Stores where I sell handpicked goods and merchandise.
6. Skim links
I’ve just started to use Skim links they basically scan your content and convert links and keywords into affiliate links, when a visitor clicks the link and buys you earn commission.
